Neal Douglas
ex-General Partner with Spectrum, AT&T Ventures, and NEA

Neal Douglas served as a Managing General Partner of Spectrum Equity Investors, L.P., a venture capital firm investing exclusively in the communications industry, was a co-founder of AT&T Ventures, and was a Partner with New Enterprise Associates (NEA). Prior to this, he was a member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the UCLA.

Peter Wolken
ex-General Partner with AVI and Page Mill Partners

Peter Wolken has been a successful venture capitalist for more than 25 years. Peter was a founding General Partner of Associated Venture Investors (AVI) in 1982. At AVI he invested in and helped build many successful start-ups including Extreme Networks, PLX Technology, Inverse Network Technology, Grand Junction Networks, Full Time Software, AccelGraphics and Network Peripherals. Prior to AVI, Peter was a General Partner at Page Mill Partners, which funded companies including Software Publishing Corporation, 3Com Corporation, Apple Computer and ASK Computer Systems. Before his VC career, Peter spent more than 20 years in various operating roles within the electronics industry. Peter received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the UC Berkeley and an advanced degree in International Marketing from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Glendale, Arizona.

Sheila Vaidya
Program Leader, Lawrence Livermore National Labs (LLNL)

Sheila Vaidya has over 25 years of research and development (R&D) and program management experience at LLNL, Novellus Systems, Applied Materials, and AT&T Bell Labs.  She has led R&D in such areas as space imagery, remote sensing, national security projects, photomask and integrated circuit manufacturing technologies, and novel conductive materials.  She has 14 patents and numerous publications in scientific journals.  She holds a PhD in Materials Science from State University of New York, Stonybrook and an MS in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology.
